Piano Exams

Every Monday I do piano lessons with Miss Martel. This year I am doing exams. There are three songs that I have to play at the exam place. One of the songs is called the giants coming.

Chess Club

At Chess Club club we have contestants who come to Kakapo to play chess. Chess club is on Wednesdays. Here are a few photos at chess club today. In chess there are kings,queens,bishops,knights,and towers. To win you have to get the king out. My favourite thing about chess is that it goes on and on. The computer taught me how to play chess.

E.O.T.C Week

I loved E.O.T.C week.

On Monday we got to go to McKenzie pool. I didn't swim because my tummy hurt.

On Tuesday I went to the Zoo.  My favourite thing was the Tasmaian Devil. I had not seen it before as it is new at the zoo.

On Wednesday we went to the beach.  This was lots of fun.  I got hit on the head with a cricket bat and had to go to hospital to have my head glued.

On Thursday we had wheels day.  I took my bike to school

On Friday we had a fun discovery day.  My mum came to help.
